This course is available as a live online group experience for up to 20 participants, or as private one on one online training for personalized support. Module 1 – Setting the Context, The Attempt: What You Were Brave Enough to Try
  • What Was Really Happening In This One Story? – Describe the specific situation: exam, project, job, relationship, performance, move, risk, or decision—just one.
  • When And Where Did This Failure Happen? – Time, place, and what your life looked like around that moment, to anchor this single event.
  • What Were You Trying To Achieve In This Case? – A goal, dream, promise, or expectation—what did “success” look like for you in this one attempt?
  • Funny or embarrassing travel language moments
  • What Exactly Didn’t Go As Planned In This Moment? – In this one story, was it a single big mistake, several small ones, or a misunderstanding?
  • One Mistake Or Many In This Case? – Did one choice start a chain reaction, or were there multiple weak spots leading to the same failure?
  • You Vs The Situation In This Event – Separate external factors (time, others, luck, resources) from your own actions or inactions in this specific context.
  • Talking About Failure Without Attacking Yourself – Learn to say “I failed at this task” instead of “I am a failure” for this one event.
  • How Did You Feel Right After This Failure Happened? – Shock, denial, anger, embarrassment, relief, confusion—in this specific moment.

  • Skills Or Habits You Changed Because Of This – Planning, asking questions, time management, practicing, saying “no,” double‑checking—tied directly to this story.
  • What Would You Do Differently Now In The Same Situation? – Concrete changes in your strategy, behavior, or communication if this happened again.
  • How Did This Help You Grow In The Long Term? – Did this failure make you stronger, humbler, more disciplined, more empathetic, more careful—or more courageous?
  • Advice For Someone Afraid Of Failing In A Similar Way – Based on this story, what would you say to a friend who won’t try because they fear mistakes?
  • How To Talk About Failure With Calm Confidence – Use this event to practice how you’d describe failure in interviews, evaluations, or meetings.
