Using personal experiences such as moving abroad, changing careers, or adjusting to new environments, participants explore how language supports adaptation and resilience. The focus is not on perfect grammar, but on clarity, structure, and confidence.
Through practical modules, learners practice language for describing transitions, explaining challenges, and discussing adaptation strategies. Each session combines storytelling, discussion, and role plays with clear language guidance. Participants learn how to talk about uncertainty, problem-solving, and growth while navigating cultural and emotional differences.
By the end of the workshop, learners gain confidence in communicating change and resilience. They leave with practical tools to explain transitions, express adaptability, and discuss personal development in everyday and professional contexts. This course is available as a live online group experience for up to 20 participants, or as private one on one online training for personalized support. Module 1 – Introducing the Change, The Moment the Old Normal Ended
  • What Exactly Changed In This One Story? – New job, city, country, relationship status, health situation, role in your family, work schedule, or study path—choose one clear change.
  • Expected Or Unexpected In This Case? – A decision you planned—or something that suddenly happened to you in this specific situation.
  • When And Where Did This Transition Happen? – Time, place, and what your life looked like around that time, just before and as it started.
  • Why Was This Change Significant For You? – It affected your identity, income, freedom, confidence, relationships, or daily routine—explain the stakes.
  • What Was Life Like Before This Transition? – Daily routine, typical week, who you spent time with, what you expected from the future—linked to this story.
  • Your Mindset And Expectations At That Time – What you thought the next years would look like; what you took for granted before this change.
  • Comfort Vs Uncertainty In Your Old Normal – Where you felt safe, confident, or “on autopilot” in this period of your life.
  • Describing Stability In English, For This Situation – Using “used to,” “would,” and routine phrases naturally.
  • How Did You Feel When This Change Hit? – Fear, excitement, relief, sadness, anger, confusion—often more than one at the same time in this story.
  • Mixed Emotions, Not Just One Word For This Moment – Being excited and scared; relieved and guilty; sad and hopeful—describe the mix.
